Your first hostel stay in Positano
Overview
A first hostel stay at Brikette means choosing how much space you want to share, then planning for Positano's hills. A dorm suits guests comfortable sharing a bedroom; the private double offers a separate bedroom for two. The dorm age policy is 18–45. Read the room details and selected rate conditions before booking.

Start with the sleeping arrangement
An ensuite dorm bathroom is shared by that room's occupants. Other bathroom arrangements are shown on the individual room pages. Booking several dorm beds does not make the room private or guarantee particular bunks. Compare the actual rooms and photographs before entering your dates.
| Choice | What you book | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Female-only or mixed dorm | A bed in a shared room; published dorms have 3–8 beds | Bed count, bathroom arrangement, terrace and floor on the exact room page |
| Private double | One double bed for two people | Ensuite bathroom, sea-view terrace and third-floor access |
| Separate apartment | The apartment for the permitted party size | Current occupancy, sleeping layout, kitchen and two bathrooms on its own page |

Make shared sleeping comfortable
Pack earplugs and an eye mask if you use them, keep walkways clear and arrange your bag before others are sleeping. Use headphones and follow the house rules. Check the selected room's storage facilities instead of assuming every room has identical equipment. If a particular bunk or access requirement matters, ask reception before booking.
Food and time with other guests
There is no guest kitchen. Guests can use a shared fridge and kettle and bring food to staff to heat in the microwave. For nearby meals, see the food guide. The bar and sea-view terrace provide shared places to spend time; meeting people depends on who is staying and how you choose to join in. The solo-travel guide explains more about the guest experience.
Prepare for the uphill location
Arriving by SITA, use the Chiesa Nuova / Bar Internazionale landmark on Via Marconi. The final main-road walk is about 120 m, followed by entrance stairs. That distance is not the journey from the beach or ferry dock. The local Interno bus stops beside Tabacchi Cafiero on Viale Pasitea; its approach includes the connector up to Via Marconi. Follow the photographed final approach or ferry-arrival route for your transport.
Plan arrival, checkout and your booking
Room check-in is 15:00–22:00; checkout is by 10:00. Arrange an arrival outside the check-in window in advance. Pre-check-in bag drop from 10:30 is separate from room access.
For post-checkout storage, enrol through the guest app. Brikette must receive your agreement to the terms and conditions, and storage is subject to availability. It is free until 15:00. After 15:00, bags move to chargeable porter storage automatically if you have not returned. Read the full storage arrangements.
Select your dates and party size on the room pages. Compare the total and the conditions for the rate you choose, including payment and cancellation, before continuing to the existing booking checkout.
FAQs
Do I have to join activities to stay in a hostel?
No. You can spend time in shared areas or follow your own plan. A hostel stay does not guarantee an organised activity or a particular social atmosphere.
Can two friends share one dorm bed?
Book a separate dorm bed for each person. The private double has one double bed for two; check whether that arrangement suits you.
Is Brikette step-free?
There is no lift or step-free access. The approach includes entrance stairs, and room floors vary. Check your selected room and contact reception about access needs before booking.
