Compare the actual date, intermediate calls and arrival time. Operating periods and frequency differ by provider; a single published seasonal timetable does not establish a year-round rule for every service.

NLG's official Salerno Molo Manfredi–Positano page checked on 26 October 2026 shows a 1 April–3 November 2026 period. Use its current route selector and the other operators' current schedules for your travel date; a listed time is not proof the sailing will operate in bad weather.

• Allow time from the station or airport to the exact terminal before the operator's reporting deadline.
• Check live, dated service notices before travelling to the port.
• For a late arrival or disrupted sailing, assess a land route before relying on the day's last ferry.

Official schedules, fares and boarding tickets

Use Travelmar's official timetable, Positano Jet's Salerno route or NLG's Manfredi route. Select Salerno → Positano, the correct date, terminal and sailing, and check the full fare and baggage conditions before paying.

• Reserve ahead when your journey depends on a particular sailing; do not assume walk-up availability.
• Read the confirmation: a boarding ticket and a voucher needing exchange are different. Follow your actual ticket's reporting deadline and office instructions rather than a universal 15–20-minute rule.
• Keep the confirmation available offline. If you want a sightseeing stop in Amalfi, check separate-leg tickets: a through ticket is not automatically a stopover pass.

Find the exact Salerno departure terminal

• Molo Masuccio / Piazza della Concordia and Molo Manfredi / Stazione Marittima are separate waterfront locations.
• NLG's linked route names Molo Manfredi; Positano Jet's route information lists both terminal names. The selected sailing's confirmation determines where you board.
• From Salerno railway station, plan the walk or other transfer to that exact terminal with your bags; do not use a Concordia walking estimate for a Manfredi departure.
• If arriving by air, distinguish Salerno–Costa d'Amalfi (QSR) from Naples (NAP) and confirm the ground-transfer route independently.
• At the waterfront, ask the operating company's staff to confirm your ticket, boarding point and any required exchange.

Spiaggia Grande to Brikette: bus stop and final stairs

Read the photographed ferry-dock-to-Brikette guide for the full route. The beach-level ferry arrival is not outside the hostel.

• Walk from Spiaggia Grande toward Piazza dei Mulini and confirm the current local Interno service toward Chiesa Nuova. The bus does not pick up at the ferry gangway.
• The Interno drop-off is beside Tabacchi Cafiero on Viale Pasitea. Walk up to Via Guglielmo Marconi. Bar Internazionale is a separate SITA stop/main-road landmark.
• From the Bar Internazionale landmark, the final main-road leg is approximately 120 m toward Via Guglielmo Marconi 358; follow Brikette's sign and take the entrance stairs on the right to reception.
• With heavy bags, discuss help before handing anything over: porter availability, collection/delivery point, full price, timing and payment must be agreed with the provider. There is no universal porter tariff or guaranteed service for every sailing.
• The route includes walking, traffic and entrance stairs. Ask about assistance for your needs in advance; do not assume the journey is step-free.

Baggage and hostel storage are separate arrangements

Check the ferry company's allowance and chargeable baggage before booking. The Travelmar transport conditions make passengers responsible for handling and custody; a baggage ticket does not include a porter. Confirm assistance with the actual operator and vessel.

If weather or a delayed train changes the plan

Recheck dated operator notices and retain your ticket and any cancellation message. Follow the seller's current change/refund procedure; there is no universal deadline or guarantee that a separately booked train or flight is protected.
