Why the stop you arrive at matters
Most Positano first-timers arrive by SITA bus and then spend the next 20 minutes learning that Positano is vertical. The wrong stop means a steep uphill walk with luggage in the heat, or an unplanned taxi.
Hostel Brikette is about 100 metres from the Chiesa Nuova stop — the one you just got off at. That proximity is the practical reason budget travelers base themselves here rather than in Sorrento and day-trip. You step off the bus, walk 100 m, and you are done. No Interno bus, no porter call needed for most arrivals.
