Validate SITA tickets before boarding using the machine on the bus or at the Chiesa Nuova tabacchi when you buy them. If the validator is out of service, write the date and time on the ticket in pen to show inspectors.

What if the bus back to Positano is full?

Buses can fill up after beach hours. Let the driver know you're waiting; if there's no room, wait for the next service, which usually arrives every 20–30 minutes in summer. Alternatively, take the Laurito shuttle boat to Spiaggia Grande and connect with local buses from there.
