Bus back to Hostel Brikette from Laurito Beach

Tip: Bus Timetable. Note that the timetable includes Positano times, but not Laurito ones. Laurito bus stop is located about 10 minutes before Sponda.

Important! If you have not got your bus ticket for the return journey, you will need to take the water shuttle back to the main beach in Positano - as we state in our guide for getting to Laurito Beach, there’s nowhere to buy a bus ticket for the return journey near the beach!

1. Walk Up to the Bus Stop

To catch the bus back to the hostel, walk up the stairs from the beach to the road and look for the bus stop on the opposite side of the road. The bus stop sign is in blue and white, mounted on a metallic pole. Wait at the bus stop for the bus to arrive.

2. Take the Bus

The number of times that the bus will stop before you need to get off will vary. The distance you need to travel is about 4.1km / 2.5 miles.

Directions:

3. Get off the Bus

You will get off at the Bar Internazionale/Chiesa Nuova bus stop.

4. Walk to the hostel

Directions:

* Continue in the direction the bus you just got off takes for just over 100m / 330 feet.

* Take the steps up to the hostel’s main door.

Bus tips

  • Printed timetables list Positano times, not Laurito; expect the Laurito stop about 10 minutes before Sponda.
  • If you don’t have a return ticket, take the Laurito shuttle boat back to the main beach in Positano and buy bus tickets at the tabacchi before trying again.
  • Check our Positano beaches overview for more details on Laurito facilities and shuttle options.

FAQs

Where can I validate my Laurito bus ticket?

Validate SITA tickets before boarding using the machine on the bus or at the Chiesa Nuova tabacchi when you buy them.

If the validator is out of service, write the date and time on the ticket in pen to show inspectors.

What if the bus back to Positano is full?

Buses can fill up after beach hours. Let the driver know you're waiting; if there's no room, wait for the next service, which usually arrives every 20–30 minutes in summer.

Alternatively, take the Laurito shuttle boat to Spiaggia Grande and connect with local buses from there.
